ICT offers training for the public, criminal justice professionals, industry, and others likely to encounter trafficking. Our programs range from introductions to the topic to full or multi-day sessions designed for those involved in investigation, prosecution, policy, or victim services. Each presentation is tailored to the audience so they leave with knowledge and skills they can immediately implement. ICT training is case-based, experiential and flows from decades of working with investigators, prosecuting cases, walking alongside victims and formulating policy, coupled with the latest research.

  • Multi-hour to multi-day human trafficking training tailored for law enforcement and criminal justice professionals on the development and investigation of sex and labor cases, prosecution and trial strategy, issues facing judges, defense attorneys, probation, detention, pardon and parole officers and child welfare officials.
  • Multi-hour to full day training sessions on developing policy frameworks for implementing community, regional or state-wide anti-trafficking strategies.
  • Consultation and training for engaging communities in Human Trafficking Vulnerability Assessments and formulating tailored solutions for the prevention and early interdiction of trafficking.
  • Consultation and training for the development and functioning of multidisciplinary anti-trafficking collaboratives.
  • Individual consultation with law enforcement and prosecution in the development and trial of trafficking cases.
  • Multi-hour to full day training sessions on criminal procedure, report writing, courtroom testimony, protective orders, witness preparation, use of experts, jury selection, interviewing witnesses, case preparation, prosecutor perspective, dynamics of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
